Russia: plywood exports up in January 2017

In January 2017, Russian plywood exports increased both in volume and value terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.  

Thus, according to the latest data, Russian export volume came up to 172,100 m3. That is 12.19% more that in the respective period of the last year.  

The total value of the Russian plywood exported in January 2017 came up to $70.4 million and grew by 20.54% year-on-year. 

In January 2017, Russia exported 157,300 m3 of plywood to the non-CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. The value of the exported plywood came up to $65.7 million. Exports to CIS came up to 14,700 m3 in volume terms and $4.7 in value terms.
