  • Next DREWOOD Fair invites to participate

    On 19-21 March 2010 will be the fifth edition of the DREWOOD Fair. This event is bringing together representatives of the timber industry at home and abroad. DREWOOD 2010 will be held traditionally in Wroclaw Centennial Hall, in parallel with the building Fair TARBUD.
    The idea of the coexistence of both events is great for longer than three years. Fair visitors have got a chance to look at the offer presented by the exhibitors, which covers a broad spectrum of products and services from the timber and building industry. In one place, and time is presented close to 400 companies, making it easier for interested parties to review the news and trends in the industry.   • South-German Pulp Mills to Pay Higher Prices

    Prices for logs used for mechanical pulp contracted in the middle of December by the state-owned forestry operation of Baden-Wuerttemberg (ForstBW) and the Finish paper producerUPM acted as an indicator.   • Vyborgskaya Cellulose - world's largest wood pellet plant in Russia

    Vyborgskaya Cellulose is building the world's largest wood pellet plant at its facility in Russia near the border with Finland. Production capacity will be over 900,000 tons per year. Construction of the plant is underway and production is planned to start in the third quarter of this year. Vyborgskaya Cellulose has appointed Ekman & Co to be its exclusive sales agent. In addition to sales, Ekman & Co will also assist Vyborgskaya Cellulose with services in finance, risk management, logistics and administration.
