Russia: plywood export value 12.36% up in Jan-Feb 2017

In January-February 2017, Russian plywood exports increased both in volume and value terms, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.

Thus, according to the latest data, Russian export volume came up to 375,000 m3. That is 3.84% more than in the respective period of the last year. 

The total value of the Russian plywood exported in January-February 2017 came up to $153.6 million and grew by 12.36% year-on-year.

In January-February 2017, Russia exported 343,500 m3 of plywood to the non-CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. The value of the exported plywood came up to $142.7 million. Exports to CIS came up to 31,500 m3 in volume terms and $10.9 in value terms.
