Russia: Timberjack leading supplier

The Finnish forest machinery producer Timberjack is according to Russian sources the leading harvester and forwarder supplier in Russia. 2003 the company sold 105 machines. In 2004 Timberjack wants to increase the volume of sales in Russia by two times to 60 mill. Euro. A leading Russian pulp producer announced already an investment program worth 27.4 mill Euros for road construction and forest machinery. The major portion (69 units) will be supplied by Timberjack and Ponsse.
