India’s premier woodworking event, Delhiwood concluded with very good turnout following four days of strong attendance, showcase of innovative technologies and ample number of orders.

Furniture manufacturers, carpenters, architects, interior designers, builders and students trooped in to inspect the latest in automated solutions in furniture and wood-based production technologies and materials.

Exhibitors seemed very happy with the positive vibes that was prevalent during the show. In the words of Willy Flassig, CEO, Pytha, one of the first time exhibitors,” We are indeed happy and satisfied with the show. Software is something that is difficult to trust, but here at the show we got very interesting queries and orders.”

Similar tones were echoed in the voice of  Cansev Kesoglu, Executive Director, ABM Group, Turkey, “The show is very good for us. We are satisfied with the show.”

The organisers, PDA Trade Fairs, have expanded the show to a whopping 31,500 square metres, and attracted more than 450 exhibitors from around the world, to showcase every facet of furniture production: machinery and tools, fittings and accessories, raw materials and consumables, panels and finishing products.

The expo was demarcated into machinery and non-machinery segments, allowing the visitors an opportunity to maximise their time and meetings during the exhibition.

The Furniture and Fittings Skill Council, of the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has conducted carpenter registration and skills development orientation programmes on all days of the show
