BAU Munich wins market share in parquet and laminated flooring
17/10/2006 - 17:53
The number of parquet and laminated flooring producers that decide to go to BAU in Munich instead of Domotex in Hanover is on the rise. This trend is explained by the widening geographical reach of BAU and by the more diverse visitor range. In this last respect exhibitors state the presence of architects and the larger presence of wood product distributors. For exhibitors, such as Egger of Kronotex, that sell other products to the construction industry then flooring or parquet the wider range of products in BAU also enables more synergies. A few companies have decided to exhibit in both shows. Others, such as Parador and Meisterwerke have decided to focus on their own in-house exhibitions and will not attend either of the shows this year. A significant absentee from both shows this year will be Kaindl.
