The Forest Directorate of Tyrol reported for September a slight decrease in roundwood prices. For the main spruce range (BC 2a +), the average price has declined by just over 2 percent. Among other things, the decline is evidently due to lower harvested volumes in East Tyrol, where the price level is slightly higher than in the rest of Tyrol. Thus, the overall price level is somewhat depressed.
